"Did I ever tell you this jacket symbolizes my independence and belief in personal freedom?"

- Sailor (Nicholas Cage) on his snakeskin jacket

THE FILM - During the uproar that Twin Peaks was causing on the small screen, Lynch left to quickly film a screenplay that he had adpated from the Gifford novel "Wild At Heart". A bizarre, stylish, and violent road film starring the high powered names of Nicholas Cage and Laura Dern, but with a host of Lynch regulars (Nance, Zebrieski, Stanton, Lee, and Fenn.) At the Canne film festival, the film captured the Palme D'or and sent Lynch's value to record heights. See the IMDB for more information.

THE POSTERS - The most impresive part of the Wild At Heart collection is the mass of foreign posters (thanks to winning the Palme D'or). Some incredible artwork and styles, especially the Czech and the French. The US posters have both a regular and a review one sheet which are often mixed up by collectors - the regular is more valuable. In general though the forgeign posters are much more rare, beautiful and valuable than the US posters.
