| THE FILM - Lynch not only has the producer credit for the film but also makes a cameo appearance as the morgue receptionist. Lynch became interested in raising money for the project after being introduced to the director/writer Michael Almereyda by his new wife Mary Sweeney. The film combines an interesting mix of black and white 16mm footage with pixelized shots. Receiving good responses at both the Toronto FIlm Festival and the Sundance Film Festival, the film did fairly poorly on a commercial level, though it does enjoy a minor cult following.
