One of the few posters that has to deal with Lynch's artwork rather than his films. Lynch has had several art gallery showings of paintings, sculptures, and furniture. Often such galleries will promote the showing with ads and/or posters.

This gallery showing took place March 7 - 31, 1991 in Philadelphia at the Payne Gallery. The showing revolved around his early works because Lynch spent his first years in art school in Philadelphia.

Interestingly, the painting used for the poster is titled "Man With Elephantine Arm".
