(Note the standard white border of the poster has unfortunately been trimmed in this image.) The promotional dollars spent on Dune were fairly large - the largest of any Lynch film. Thus DeLaurentis went ahead with two advance posters. The second of the two advances was more detailed in both it's design and it's introduction to the film. There is a long narrative on the left hand side. While not as beautiful as the first advance poster, the collage image is striking and much better than the regular one sheet. Additionally the image of Sting appears in the collage. (With minimal screen importance, an obviously tie-in to his celebrity status at the time.) Much increased in value over the regular one sheet but does not match the worth of the first advance.
